bought this new and improved version of the to take along to ghost hunts with me.

this newer version has a proper on/off switch unlike the original version where you had to hold the on button down for it to work (this proved to give off false readings if you subconsciously allowed your thumb to release pressure on the button)

tried it around the house against various appliances (cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc) and it really does work.

cant wait to try it out in the field!

highly recommended to anyone who wants to try and prove that spirits using EMF are really there. This little tool will keep you happy for hours at haunted locations or just in and around the home :)

buy it now!

Temperamental. Didn't go off at all during a screening of Ghosbusters, but went ballistic during a repeat of Dad's Army.

Verified Purchase
I like the products function but not very keen on the cheap looking childlike sticker indicating the strength readout.

It's looks like a childs toy because of this fruity colourful sticker, I'm just being honest.

The device and it's functions are very cool and great fun, i just don't like that childish sticker.

Before purchasing this product I was a firm skeptic, however all that changed the day this fateful device arrived on my doorstep. I opened the package immediately, ready to disprove the existence of all things supernatural. "Take that, Acorah and chums," I could hear myself crying in victory as I flipped the on switch. Then came the sound - echoing off the freshly plastered ceiling of my 5th level apartment and sending a chill down my spine.
"Beep"
An error?
"Beep, Beep," Somehow louder than the first.
What, there mus...
"Beep, Beep, BEep, BEEp, BEE..."
Shaking, I quickly turned off the device.
Could it be? Could I be in the presence of spirits? Something I didn't even believe in just 5 minutes ago. No, surely not. Then how do you explain the beeping? That piercing sound that announced the company of the dead. The dreadful noise that shattered my most fundamental beliefs.
Afraid of what I now knew to be true, I cowered in the airing cupboard. The heat of the boiler warming my frozen spine. It's from these confined conditions that I write you this review. A warning perhaps. Now I must reside in this cramped, sweltering abyss while unseen phantoms roam about me causing untold terror. For the sake of all things holy, don't make the same mistake I did...

I bought this in the hopes of starting a ghost army so dave will finally listen to me when I say I am a good leader. I went to gettysburg, my mom's house, and the dumpster by Ke$ha's OBGYN and found nothing. It does make a nice stud finder though. Two stars for finding John Stamos for me.

The K-I was a far superior product in my view. It's the push on/push off switch that ruins this for me; no matter how I position it I'm told to push off wherever I go. This is not how I envisaged the world of ghost hunting to develop for me.

For the last three years I have lived alone in an old Victorian townhouse. It was my marital home, and although the death of my dear husband led me to agonise over whether I should sell up and move to somewhere without painful memories, and with less bathrooms to clean, I have always felt his presence here, and so, I remain.
My family and friends have tried to persuade me to move on. I hear them all the time, saying the same things, but I don’t seem able to let go. I realised the only way that I could ever truly know what to do would be to talk to my husband again. For that, I needed the ultimate in ghost-finding devices, so I hopped onto amazon dot co dot uk and bought this product.
Sadly, this is where my story, er, I mean review, takes a turn for the worse. I received the product just outside of the stated delivery time, but that was merely an inconvenience when compared to what was to come. I turned on the product and it immediately began to beep like a reversing bin van. I turned it off and on again, hoping that this universal fix would work, but again, the constant signalling resumed.
I gasped. Perhaps this meant that he was here.
“Hello?” I shivered.
Nothing. Just the beeping. Perhaps he couldn’t hear me because of the beeping. I said it again, louder this time, “Hello?”
Nothing.
I sighed, and switched off the meter.
And then. It. Hit. Me.
I went upstairs to my bedroom. The bedroom we used to share. Turned the product on, listened to the beeps, turned it off again.
I went into the spare bedroom, the bathrooms, everywhere in the house, repeating the same process. Each time, the persistent beeping.
I knew what I had to do next, but I did not want to do it. Still, it had to be done. I had to know the truth.
