Format:DVD
This ia another little gem of a movie.
HOWEVER,when I watched it I thought there
were some scenes missing.Sure enough
when I compared it to my burned vhs to
dvd copy,there was 17 MINUTES MISSING !!!
If you can dig up a vhs copy I would say
burn it to a dvd so that you can get the entire
movie.I only gave it 3 stars because of the
missing 17 min. of very good scenes.

Just Like a Woman
A film that explores the world of crossdressing, it follows a successful executive (Adrian Pasdar) who is happy married until his wife find out he likes to wear women’s clothes. He is forced to move out and move into digs, and is befriended by his landlady (Julie Walters), who discovers his secret and decides to learn more about crossdressing.
The film deal with the subject of crossdressing in a sensitive manner and tries to shows the fear that men who crossdress face everyday about being found out, and how people react to them when they do find out.
This film is must for all crossdressers and for those who’s partners crossdress, or if you just like a romantic comedy.

This is a comedy, with a serious side.
Despite the occasionally contrived storyline the movie is a sympathetic look at the problems a cross dressing man has in his personal and business relations.
One scene that left me uncomfortable was when the police, assuming they have stopped an attractive and sexy woman, suddenly become unpleasant and bigoted when they find they've been fooled by a 'tranny'.
One reviewer mentioned the DVD has been cut compared to the VHS release. I didn't check, as I was shocked when I received my DVD to find that the movie was 'fullscreen' (cropped) and not a widescreen presentation. I find it unacceptable to be offered up fullscreen DVDs of modern widescreen movies; it seems no one gave a damn about the DVD release of this movie - in the UK at least.
I cannot recommend the DVD release on any level.
