5.0 out of 5 stars Words of wisdom, good ones, as well... 8 Jan 2012
By Nadia
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Was in fact half expecting more of a story than just quotes, for some reason. However, there are some very good quotes in there, perfect for Status Updates on Facebook for instance!

5.0 out of 5 stars It takes one seed to grow a tree 30 July 2000
By Andrei Yashurin - Published on Amazon.com
It takes just one seed to grow a tree. And if it is so, why do we tend to think that we are to read volumes to transform our thinking and our life? There are few quotations of this book - but each one is a pearl of great price. Each one is worthy of our close attention. They are not to be taken lightly. Men and women who expressed those thoughts were uncommon achievers - and so can be you, if you will apply their wisdom. Woodrow Wilson said: "I not only use all the brains I have, but all I can borrow". And I'm confident that reading of such a book is a good way to borrow other's brains.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you Need a Boost... 20 July 2006
By Ayodele Mellor - Published on Amazon.com
This is an excellent book, if you are in need of a boost to get yourself going. It has served as very inspirational for myself and literally helped me accomplish projects and tasks that I didn't believe I could. I passed it along to my younger brother to help inspire him and I now miss it enough that I am ordering another copy. I highly recommend this book.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful little collection 4 Nov 2011
By John D. Hines - Published on Amazon.com
Ok, I hate to say because I'm not a usual "self-helper" but this really is an inspirational little book. It is delightful to just peruse through the pages and it really does lift your day. Worth the price for sure.
