Story is good but animation is in black and white and not really appealing to my 3 year old. Paper quality rough

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Time! 2 Dec 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Danny Glover reads this, and I enjoyed it as much (maybe more) than my daughter. This book and "How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin" sold us on Rabbit Ears audiobooks - we now have about a dozen. Get the full size so the child can follow the text easier and you can both enjoy the illustrations.
5.0 out of 5 stars This review is for the hardcover BOOK , with illustrations by Lori Lohstoeter 20 April 2011
By M. Heiss - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Keep this one on your bookshelf, O Best Beloved. It is the entire original story of "How the Leopard" in all its Rudyard Kipling language. It just melts in your mouth as you read it. The Ethiopian likes to use long words, because he is a Grown Up.

The illustrations are interesting and full of movement and dappled shade. This book is a keeper. Excellent, original illustrations by Lori Lohstoeter.

1.0 out of 5 stars I did not receive this book, mistaken down load, but I paid for nothing. Can you correct? 5 Dec 2012
By Eileen Mele - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Was this a scam? Advertise a project, then do nothing when the customer receives nothing, but pays anyway? Shame on Kindle, or Amazon.
