Amazing,

This review is from: Just One More Day (Paperback)
This book was quite hard to get into at first, the mixture of the mother and daughter accounts made my head spin! However after pushing past the block, this book was amazing. The final moments left me feeling raw and open the whole family experience. You were made to feel like of the family, and were left to grieve with them. I cried my heart out, even thought I knew what was happening. It left me wanting the read more. Beautifully written, beautifully told and heart destroying. I wanted to cuddle the child we are left with. Please write a sequel.

This is the first Susan Lewis I have read, it was lent by a friend and what a treasure it turned out to be! Written from the point of view from both Mother and Daughter It's a real life heart tugger - I openly cried at the end, after travelling the journey with Susan and her Mother the painful ending felt raw.Left me wanting to know more!!!

Real,

This review is from: Just One More Day (Paperback)
This book showed such a real view of life as a child and a mother struggling with cancer.
The style Susan has written it is truly unique. How difficult it must be to capture the writing as if a child had written it. Very well done. It took me a while to read this book because I didn't have the time to sit down properly and get into it which is what I think you should do with this book. It's very touching especially at the end when Susan doesn't understand that her mum is gone and not coming back. But how like a nine year old that is like. A definite recommendation if you want to read something real
