A great little thing. I did buy it from an authorised apple retailer at just £14.99 though. I have bought a cheaper one before. This works so much better and the nib just glides across the screen without much pressure. The cheaper one I bought required more pressure so didn't feel like a drawing tool.
I've tried drawing with it and it works marvellously. Highly recommend!

I bought this pen for my husband, a retired art teacher. He has an ipad and after reading about the new Hockney exhibition and that he used an app called brushes, we downloaded it. Working by finger did not work so I started looked as stylus and at once thought the alu pen looked the best. Whilst looking at reviews we found that in fact Hockney uses the same pen, there is even a YouTube of him working. My husband has already turned out some fantastic paintings and just loves his pen. It is an artists tool and the soft nib just flows over the screen. It may look a bit fat but it fits into the hand a dream. It feels solid and well made and comes with its own little leather bag. You can buy cheaper butI doubt you can buy better.

I purchased this, and it didn't arrive over-packaged as someone else reviewed, and it doesn't come with a pouch. This seems to be a cheap version of the alupen. it does work, BUT i'm concerned at being sold a cheap chinese made version of the real thing
UPDATE - I questioned the authenticity of this item and received a refund immediately and without question. This seller obviously knows they are selling a cheap imitation otherwise there would have been more of an argument about the refund

Does what it says on the tin
