Thoroughly enjoyable read. The author gives great detail and interest to the characters from the outset and the parallel stories running through it leave you continually in suspense. The tone is emotional, dark and a little twisted. I read this on a plane back from the States & recommend it for any woman going on holiday or on a long journey, looking for a clever and compelling adult novel to enjoy. A real page turner.

Fantastic read! The characters' dark side of human nature is horribly alluring. The story pulls you in and you find yourself unable to put it down. I wanted to understand how the characters became so psychologically twisted, and the story delivers on this to the very end. Great twist too!
I am an avid reader and would even go as far to say that the pace and style is akin to early Thomas Harris, in particular Red Dragon. I would highly recommend this book.

I read this book in two days and hope there is more to come from this author.

Believable characters, fast paced, with a story line you really wouldn't want to be personally involved in. This was a change from my normal read and although not the darkest that I have read definitely resides in the top ten.
