From driving a commuter DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit), through hauling freight with the Hymek Diesel locomotive, to the excitement and skill of driving a Manor Class Steam engine, you will be enchanted by the countryside views in this classic Somerset setting. Owners of Trainz Railway Simulator Passenger Edition can also employ Rail Driver to add the West Somerset Railway software to that simulation.

The game itself was very good, good graphics and plenty of route to play around with.
For me one of the down sides was the large amount of open space, which is fine if you like strolling through the countryside behind a heritage engine, but it wasn't intresting enough for me and therefore i became disintrested with the game. I did find that the additional english items that came with the game where fun and intresting to use in making my own routes. I can't comment on how much of an accurate represntation of the real railway it is, but it seem quite realistic to me.

My son really enjoy playing this Train Driver PC game. Having lots of fun driving the train. Having problems getting him to come off this game and do anything else.
