Good suspense

Laurel Hatcher was arrested and tried for killing her husbnd. She insisted she was innocent, and the trial ended in a mistrial. Knowing she faced going through the ordeal again, she tries to clear her name. Time is limited before her new trial, and she has no one to help her, until she meets handsome police officer, Dan Ryan. He falls in love with Laurel and is determined to prove her innocence. The odds are against them though, and Laurel's former inlaws are convinced of her guilt.
Susan Page Davis knows how to write suspense. I always enjoy her books. Just Cause is a story about a woman who has everything to lose. Romantic suspense readers will love this one.
