This book is good and interesting and there are some nice memories in there but it is written for the American market and there are a few things in there which are for American audiences. It is still a good read.

This book left me really disappointed. As I started reading I realized 3 things:
1: At least one of the writers was a Rich Kid who loved bragging and apparently still does
2:The only toys here are the writers and the descriptions are basically the writers story of the toy in their lives.
3:Most of the information is inaccurate and wrong.

I was hoping for something more meaty and informational and not a someone else's trip down memory lane...the lane of someone I don't even know.

Possibly the worst purchase I've made on Amazon and that's with reading the other reviews. I feel for the trapper keeper gimmick. Guess they needed something to justify printing this lackluster book. Luckily there is another 80s toy book. Hopefully it's better.

This book (with a cool cover) is so much fun if you like to have a trip through memory lane!! The book does not only mention toys and games, but also other stuff like populair books. Of some you might have forgotten the name, but you never forgot the stuff you played with as a little kid. There's more then enough you do regonize! To name a few:

- He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
- She-Ra
- Care Bears
- Pogo ball
- Alf
- Transformers
- Thundercats
- My Little Pony
- M.A.S.K.
- Rainbow Brite

The book nog only shows pictures, but it tells you also about the history, what it meant for us and if it's still around these days. That part sounds boring, but it itsn't as it's all written from a personal point of view. Every product ends with a 'redonkulous meter'.

This book is for any boy or girl who grew up in the 80's. I can recommend it to buy it for yourself or to buy it as a gift!
