This tale follows the fortunes of the Bone children after the death of their parents on the 'Titanic'. Young Binnie is left to bring up her brothers and sisters, with the help of her grandparents. When war arrives, her brothers and her sweetheart - the local vicar - go off to the front. This book is very moving and it really touched my heart. War is a bad thing and can cause upsetting deaths. Dick King Smith has written many books but `Just Binnie' shines and stands out above all the others. I will rate this spectacular success a terrific 10!

It's my almost favorite book of all time by my almost favourite author.It's sad and happy at the same time,I had to read it a few times before I could read it without crying.On the other hand it has some very happy bits as well.
I think Dick King Smith created a very good book that gives you an insite of how families of the passengers of the titanic that didn't survive coped and dealt with their loss.The only trouble is that I would have liked it to be longer!
