Jurassic Park III Scan Command CD-ROM is a rather novel idea for a game. The story outline is simple enough--Evil Dr Corts intends to take over the world with an army of mutated dinosaurs. To make matters worse, the bad Doctor is holding five children captive in Jurassic Park, and you want to rescue them. To do this you need your own dinosaurs, which you'll grow by manipulating their DNA.
This is where the fun comes in, as you use bar codes to help give them their characteristics. The software comes with a bar code scanner for the capture of these data-bits. It is about 18cm long, made of blue plastic, and looks rather like an oversized marker pen. It needs three AAA batteries to supply its power. The first barcode you need is in the game manual. Thereafter you can wander through the house and beyond, grabbing barcodes from wherever you like. The scanner can store up to 25 bar codes at a time, and you download them to the PC using a serial connection and then create the DNA and powerful dinosaurs. And let the action begin!

Jurassic Park III Dino Defender
An evil business tycoon has knocked down Jurassic Park's electric fences. Dinosaurs are roaming wild and preying on each other. As a member of the Dino Defenders emergency response team, your mission is to trap or tranquilize the frenzied dinosaurs and save the island. There are six levels of action to master, each inhabited by realistically rendered dinosaurs. You will have at your disposal equipment like steel-clawed gloves, a titanium helmet, a vocal synthesizer (whose purpose will become plain when you play), tranquilizer balls, and steel nets. There are also hidden items, secret paths, and video clips that play each time a new level is conquered.

Jurassic Park 3 Scan Command offers a challenging 3D gameplay.Realistic battle sequences make it even more attractive.Plus the adventure never stops being interesting,since you can keep adding new data through the scanner.This enables new DNA powers to be collected,thus discovering novel dinosaur skills and planning effective strategic dino attacks.
