A terrible storm has knocked out power in Jurassic Park and the huge dinosaurs are on the rampage. As a member of the elite Dino Defender squadron, it's your job to capture as many dinosaurs as possible while you try to restore power in this dramatic and exciting CD-ROM game.
The adventure starts once you type your name and accept the mission, and then you must climb, leap, run and jump using your keyboard or game pad control. Be aware that the big dinosaurs take a while to emerge--at first you're followed by a few small ones that make strange squeaking noises. But on the way you can stop and look for supply boxes of gear such as tranquilliser canisters and distractor flares.
The scenes are very atmospheric and the tension builds quickly as you're never sure when the dinosaurs are going to put in an appearance. When they do, it's quick and you have to be fast with your controls to survive. The accompanying booklet is well-designed and points out all the navigation and movement skills required to take on the dinosaurs. However it's worthwhile spending time in the game's excellent interactive training academy.

An evil business tycoon has knocked down Jurassic Park's electric fences. Dinosaurs are roaming wild and preying on each other. As a member of the Dino Defenders emergency response team, your mission is to trap or tranquilize the frenzied dinosaurs and save the island. There are six levels of action to master, each inhabited by realistically rendered dinosaurs. You will have at your disposal equipment like steel-clawed gloves, a titanium helmet, a vocal synthesizer (whose purpose will become plain when you play), tranquilizer balls, and steel nets. There are also hidden items, secret paths, and video clips that play each time a new level is conquered.

This game is pure awesome Dino fun!When you reach the end,according to how well you have done,you are rewarded dino cards,and become an official Dino Defender!
Not to mention the breath-taking gameplay,which enhances your gaming skills and puts your strategic skills in action,as well.You must explore various tricks in order to get past the dinosaurs,unless of course you wanna become a dino snack!In this case,the dinosaurs sure know how to thrill you!
Even so,the game is rated as suitable for everyone,since it contains no physical violence.

A word of warning if, like me, you thought this would be a neat present for a eight year old who has already had great fun with the Disney action games such as Bugs' Life and Toy Story. This just isn't in the same league and my boy was really disappointed. To begin with, the dinosaur island isn't rendered in 3-D. The gaming is predictable and limited. It just doesn't get exciting enough. A lot of effort has been put into video clips of dinosaurs that appear when a dinosaur attacks but once you've seen it a couple of times, so what. Plus you have to remove all your old versions of quicktime before the game will install. Altogether, very poor.

i played a demo it was good first keep walking until you came to a lake and there was log in the middle i jumped on the log and jumped again to the other side of the lake.anyway its a good game buy it.
