Left Lane Cruiser (to me) are one of the best relatively unknown bands over the last 6 or 7 years, and their latest album has still the rockin' vibe of the first album 'Bring Yo' Ass To The Table'(which I highly recommend) but a more grown up feel to it in places. With the added keys scattered throughout by their good friend (of Black Diamond Heavies fame) John Wesley Myers there is a few tunes that has a slightly more mellow sound, but still with the menace that made we love this band in the first place.

This is up in my top 10 albums of the last year.

don't worry 7 April 2011
By Phil K - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
...although they've added a bit of keyboard..and included some slower..brooding..darker tunes..they are still the nastiest, dirtiest..loudest..most low down blues duo out there! Take the Black Keys...drag 'em through the mud..soak 'em in a barrel of Jack Daniels for a month..turn the amp up to maximum distortion..and it might just sound like this!!!! Good stuff!!!

seriously primal garage/blues squall 21 Jun. 2011
By Charlie Quaker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Sophomore release from Indiana duo that sounds like raw, passionate, distorted, soulful blues-
rock r-i-p-p-i-n-g out of the dive at the end of the street--slide guitar shredding & and occasional
Hammond organ riding a wave of garage rock and smoke-throat vocals, all layin' it on the line.
Seriously primal blues squall with an infectious energy played by a couple of guys who just want
to get it all out of their system. Guest appearances from members of Black Diamond Heavies,
Dirtbombs, the Witches. Recalls label mates Henry's Funeral Shoe, Radio Moscow, Black
Diamond Heavies + Hound Dog Taylor, R.L. Burnside, Black Keys, the Stooges, Hendrix.

Not what I expected. 8 Sept. 2011

If you have listened to Left Lane Cruiser's previous music and loved it, then this album may be disappointing to you. The gritty, raw delta blues is cleaned up, toned down and is seemingly more generic. This is not a bad album by any means, it just does not compare to their earlier music. If you have never heard Left Lane Cruiser before, then sure, go for it...it will give you a taste. But if you want the main course...go for previous other recordings!

These fella's sure do make some fine music. I'm not quite sure what an mp3 is, but this sounds terrific on LP.
Really Rocking Album 30 Sept. 2013

I don't know what it is about these guys, but they've really wormed their way into my brain. Describing their style to others is very difficult, but it's a sound that you can immediately recognize and enjoy. Highly Recommended!
