I am presently knitting "Cassie" in the Junior Knits book. I just love the pattern. Imagine my frustration when I reached the sleeves and found a glaring error. Instructions end 6 rows into the shaping part and obviously not complete.

I've heard these complaints about Debbie Bliss before. Surely, absolute attention to detail when checking patterns is of the first order. To work hard and long on project only to be stymied at the end and have to work out what to do next is completely ridiculous considering you've purchased the book and have a right to trust the pattern!

Debbie Bliss on her Website provides a whole list of her books that have errors. Maybe she should stop and assess that something in her organization is amiss. What a pity since I just love her designs.

The book is not very attractive (with this I'm referring to patters, photos, font, page layouts, binding style, book size = the whole package) but it has some OK patterns that seem easy to do and I'll definitely try them out. Not a "Must buy".

It can be hard to find knits for children over 3, and this book has some lovely ones. I tend to find Debbie Bliss patterns come out really big so I size down. I have knitted two items from this book and both came out really well (although big, as mentioned). There are others I'm keen to do.

Book has some really lovely patterns. ALso cheaper than most wool shops. Patterns are easy to follow, but then I love Debbie Bliss patterns and wool.
