Product Description

The Galvanized stakes are screwed into the ground like a corkscrew and the straps loop around the top rail of the trampoline and through the eye of the stake. The straps are then tightened with the buckles.

5.0 out of 5 stars trampoline anchor kit 29 April 2010
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this trampoline anchor kit because it was the cheapest I could find. I am very pleased with the kit, the metal rods are extremely sturdy and easy to insert into the ground. The straps lock well once assembled. The kit also works well to anchor a childs swing to the ground as the rods go much deeper than a standard swing peg anchor. Value for money excellent.

2.0 out of 5 stars dissapointed 5 Dec 2013

Initially we thought this product was brilliant, the pegs screw into the ground and cannot be pulled out. Today we had very strong winds, and indeed the pegs stayed in the ground. However the stitching on the ties came away and our trampoline flew away! In theory these are very strong, in practice the stitching is not as strong as the pegs. VERY dissapointed :-(

5.0 out of 5 stars Good anchor kit 30 Jun 2013

I boughts this kit due to our trampoline being damaged when the wind picked it up and turned it upside down. Since fitting these anchors it has not moved at all and we have had some really windy weather. These anchors are easy to put into the ground and have a good hold once in, they may feel lose but still have good hold. The straps are easy to fit and remove which is handy when you need to cut the grass under the trampoline.
I would recommend this anchor kit to anyone who has a trampoline that could be blown over by the wind but who still need to move it once in while to cut the grass

The picture is misleading - the buckles appear to be metal in the picture but the ones we were sent had black plastic clips and buckles. The clips do not appear to be very strong so I am worried they won't do their job if high winds, plus one is faulty as the clip only holds at one side. Unfortunately, I bought these a number of weeks before I fitted them on my daughter's birthday trampoline and I had already screwed in all of the pegs to the ground before noticing the defect. I had to just knot the strap round itself and hope it holds. The kit did not come with instructions so I had to look at online pictures and hope that I did it right - I out the poles in at an angle, about 40cm under the trampoline near a leg, wrapping the strap round the main frame and the end of he pole. I would not have bought this product had it been made clear that he fixings were all metal rather than plastic as I do not think they are strong enough to hold firm in high winds.
