I got this jigsaw for Christmas. Help! 3,000 pieces. It is amazing. So many things going on and so much fun trying to put it together. My only complaint is that I now need a larger kitchen table to lay it out on.

Van Haasteren jigsaws are always a joy, and this is no exception. It has all the usual elements: periscopes, shark fins, speeding snails; all set in a wacky scene of an icy lake.

I can definitely recommend the puzzle to all van Haasteren fans like me. The only small drawback is that it seems that the puzzle is a blow up of a smaller one and so occasionally the individual scene-lets can be a tad smudged. But this is a problem not worth dwelling on when taken as part of the whole experience of completing such a fun jigsaw.
