The Night Before Christmas is a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle that has been specially commissioned for Jumbo Games by the extremely talented artist – Steve Crisp – for this year’s Falcon Christmas Collection. The finished puzzle image captures the quiet warmth of Christmas Eve – Mother is busy preparing the food for tomorrow’s celebrations in the kitchen as the family cat sits beside her, staring up at the delicious food she is preparing. Father is bringing down the last of the gifts that have been stored underneath the bed – away from the hands of the children. The Grandparents are sat in the warmth of the living room as they finish wrapping the gifts they have brought and the light glistens from the trees decorations. Upstairs the children are fast asleep in their rooms, undisturbed by the soft footsteps of Father Christmas and his reindeer on the roof. The finished jigsaw puzzle measures 68 x49cm (approximately) and all the puzzle pieces have been produced using a high quality cardboard to ensure every piece maintains its original shape time and time again. Falcon’s de luxe range was first introduced in the 1970’s. With its distinctive blue backing card, using precision printing and cutting techniques it brought together beautifully finished high-quality Fine Art images and popular collections – from richly detailed cottages and nostalgic countryside scenes to striking one-off images. Fun to do and a nice picture. The kids got bored because some bits were a bit too difficult for them. The sky took us quite a while but we enjoyed this puzzel a lot.

Great fun.
This jigsaw was for an adult who thoroughly enjoyed it, though she found the sky did need persevence as all those stars on a dark background looked the same ! Great fun.
