As someone who is aware of not eating nearly enough fruits and vegetables, I recently acquired a juicer and found this book excellent and truly motivating. It gives advice on every aspect of juicing, i.e. what to peel and what not to, when best to drink fruit juice and vegetable juice (to avoid wind and bloating) and advice on buying a juicer.
It is full of information on the health benefits (and there are many) of incorporating fresh juice into your diet along with nutritional information for each individual piece of fruit/veg. Once I had read the first few pages, I instantly wanted to begin juicing my way to a healthier lifestyle in order to achieve a 'Juice High' as the book title suggests.
It includes a dettox chapter (juice blitz), quick fix recipes for numerous ailments, salads, smoothies and alcoholic cocktails! All recipes are given in quantities of fruit and veg so no measuring!
