Judy and Stink Moody are some of my favorite characters. These books are wonderful reads. I have read 14 books in these series now and each one was entertaining and a fun read. These are books I will read with my children over and over again. And in this book Judy is on the case.

My 9 year old granddaughter loves the Judy Moody Books! She could hardly wait for this one - #9 in the series. I gave it to her on Christmas Eve and she was reading it by 8 p.m. She went to bed with this book.

Do you like mysteries? Do you like being part of a club? If you answered one or both of these questions with a "yes", then this book is perfect for you!
It is about a girl in third grade named Judy Moody who likes to read Nancy Drew books and solve mini-mysteries at school. She is also a member of the Toad Pee Club (a secret mystery-solving friends club), along with her little brother, Stink, and her best friends, Rocky and Frank. When Stick finds out Police Officer Kopp's K-9 dog-in-training, Mr. Chips, is missing, Judy and her friends are on the case! They interview everyone in town and collect evidence like Nancy Drew! Will they find Mr. Chips, or is he gone for good? If you want to solve the case, read Judy Moody, Girl Detective now!
I highly recommend that kids from ages 7-10 read this book. It has very funny characters and an interesting plot. The trail of clues will keep you guessing until the very end. If you are curious and adventurous, and really enjoy a good mystery, you must read Judy Moody, Girl Detective!

Good easy-to-read book.

I ordered this book for my 9-year old. She finished reading it in a short time, shorter than expected, (the book is written in a larger font - and 170 pages but, if written in a normal font, would have been less than 100 pages long). I think this book is more suitable for a younger, less advanced reader. It was however, quite entertaining for her! Recommend for a 5-7 year old readers.
