I was very pleasantly surprised by this knife.
I expected it to look and feel cheap, given the price, but it does neither.

It's solid, well weighted, and extremely sharp.
I hadn't realised just how blunt my old knife was until I used this.

Well worth the money.

This knife is excellent. Although it says it is a bread knife, I also used it to cut through some frozen fish and it went through it like butter

I bought this to replace a sabbatier knife that I'd had for 20 years.
I'm very pleased with the quality of this knife. It is a good weight
and the blade is very firm. I'd recommend it to others.

This knife is very good value for money. It is not the very best available but the very best available would have cost me four times as much and the difference in excellence between this knife and the seriously expensive ones is not enough to make the extra cost worthwhile. I suspect it is a lot better than many of the mid-priced knives.

Certainly is a quality item: the length is good; it feels pretty solid; and looks good. Unfortunately, it is not sharp enough. Cutting quality bread (Village Bakery) with it is not straightforward when the bread is in its freshest, and after two days it becomes really a torment.

I've bought several bread knives over recent years without ever finding one that was reasonably priced yet did what it said on the box. This knife is the exception and some months after purchase it's still cutting as sweetly as ever. We bake our own bread and cutting fresh home-made bread is challenging but this knife does the job. Highly recommended.

Of course, buying any kitchen knife can be a problematic process, as quality and price vary so greatly. A bread knife is one item that I do seem to change more frequently, as I make my own bread, so the knife is used constantly. I have compromised with this one, as it is very inexpensive item, even if some can be bought cheaper. I have used this now for a few months, and although it does not cut well for warm bread, (I now use a Vicorinox bread knife Victorinox - Bread Knife 21cm Serrated Edge, it is still a reasonable product for the price
