I have to say this is one of my favourite kitchen purchases lately - even though it's something so simple. It's a lovely heavy Maslin pan made of nice bright shiney metal so it looks great on the shelf and it heats very evenly and makes very nice jam indeed!

I'm truly delighted with my Maslin pan, it's so shiny, it seems a shame to use it! (but I will, though!) I can't make up my mind what to make first, bramble jelly, or apple & date chutney... Decisions, decisions!

August 2009.
I've decided to update my review, as I now realise that it isn't particularly helpful to any potential buyers! I didn't get to make any preserves last year, but now I have and it has fully lived up to my expectations! Nice and roomy, solid and deep enough for a good "rolling boil" I've made three batches of plum jam and look forward to making some bramble jelly soon. And then, maybe, the chutney....
