For the first time in my life, I returned a book to Amazon for a refund. There is nothing in this book that was helpful to me. It's expensive for the few pages there are in it, I read it in an hour, and the information in it seems to be mainly references from other sources. If you want to know about EFT then go on the website and read up on it but if you want to know about cfs/me without reference to EFT then this book isn't going to be of much use to you. It might have been more readable with some encouraging case histories even if it had been the author's own personal history. It's titled 'Joyful Recovery From M.E.' the joy doesn't come across at all. However, to be fair, I believe that the author recovered from her illness with the help of EFT and anything is worth a try. If you are a sufferer maybe you should look at the Low Dose Natrexone website. It may be the treatment we have all been praying for.

This book is so simple to understand. It flows, lovely short chapters, i read it in one day!
It encompasses all you need to start on a road to recovery, giving good researched evidence all in the same book, so if your like me and want to cut the intellectual clap trap and reach the truth of the meaning this is a book for you.

Excellent guide for therapists and inspirational reading for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME sufferers

I am an Advanced EFT Practitioner working with a variety of clients' issues, including those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME. I bought this book to give me some insight into the illness and to assist in my therapy sessions with my clients. It is beautifully written and incredibly informative and I was so impressed that I passed copies on to my clients to read for themselves. Sasha Allenby's story is truly inspiring. It is rare, yet refreshing, to see an approach to recovery being recounted in such an optimistic, yet honest, way. I highly recommend this book to anyone with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME, their family and friends, or therapists wishing to work in this area.
