Book Description

The Book of Ruth lets the reader observe God’s hand at work in almost every circumstance of life. You get to patiently wait to see God move without you having to get your hand dirty. And because of that, this can be one of the more faith-inspiring books in the whole Bible. But just like Ruth, you have to be patient and wait to see it all come together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can you have faith in the face of hardship? 14 Nov. 2012

An amazing reflection on the Book of Ruth. If you've ever had a ton of stuff raining down on you and asked yourself why, or (more likely) shook your fist at the sky asking "Whyyyyy?!!" you might find this helpful. I've already read it twice on my Kindle.

Pastor Duncan asks, "Do you have the faith to trust God in your circumstances even if you never see what God is going to do with it?" I have to wonder about my answer to this question as of late. I'm already finding some comfort in the story of Ruth and Naomi, and renewing my prayer that I will trust that there is some purpose to what I'm living through, even if I never live to see the end of it.
