Product Description
The Hamster and Gerbil Run has been specially designed to allow you pet to experience time outside their cage whilst still containing them. This cleverly designed playpen is suitable for indoor use and has ample room for your pet to exercise and play without the risk of them gnawing your furniture. The enclosure can be easily assembled and taken down and even extended with further enclosures to provide a larger run area. The Hamster and Gerbil Run has multi-coloured varnished bars and will make a great accessory to any room in the house.

Our Syrians were over this in a matter of minutes (I'd recommend the Trixie playpen for Syrians, its taller), but for our dwarfs this was good. They couldn't climb over it, and there's plenty space for their toys. They enjoyed playing in it.

I'd read other reviews about various pets jumping / climbing over this little playpen, but thought i'd try it out anyway...
And my gerbils loved being able to run around in here and it's much easier to handle them and play with them. They could probably jump over the bars, but didn't seem inclined to (i probabaly wouldn't leave them unsupervised though, just in case...) and at such a fab low price I would highly recommend.

I bought one of these at a car boot sale yesterday - now I know why it was so cheap! My Syrian hamster escaped from it in about 5 seconds - not nearly high enough to keep climbers in.

Wish I could give no stars.
Within 20 minutes our hamster climbed over the top. Absolute rubbish. Only buy if your hamster is a bit thick.
