I well remember listening to these BBC serials in the 50's and in all honesty they have lost absolutely nothing in entertainment value. The secret with these radio dramas is that the listener uses his OWN imagination to create the fantasy world- a world much more vivid and realistic by far than can ever be created visually on TV or film. I can't recommend these tapes enough! . Martin Kay

By A Customer
The whole three title series has been digitally re-mastered and available both singley and as a superb boxed tape set. Excellant stories, presented in a time honoured manner, the tapes have the feel of those days when Britain was gripped by Journey into Space fever. This series still holds the British Radio audiences records, even after 40 years!! It is such a crying shame that the books just don't seem to be available now. Bring back these classics is my call - come on Pan books!!.
