Product Description

Action and fantasy collide in this epic tale of a corrupt and all-powerful King who reigns over his kingdom with an iron fist, but there is hope. A prophecy foretold long ago states that a boy will rise up against the oppressive regime and lead his people to the promised land of Promethea. This is the action-packed journey of one boy that sparks a rebellion that ignites a vicious clash of wills between the King and commoner, where only one group can emerge alive and victorious.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why not to watch Journey to Promethea 13 Sep 2011
Format:DVD
Probably the very, very worst dull, utterly boring HAM acting, actionless film I have ever & never want to see again in all my life. Noddy in toyland was far more adventurous. Having barely watched the film it was promptly thrown away, never to see the light of day again. The case, of course, was kept for re-cycling purposes making my initial purchase of the film partially redeemed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Journey Not 24 July 2012
Format:DVD
Journey to Promethia Is like booking and paying for a Luxury world tour and ending up in Butlins Holiday Camp for the Glasgow Fair Fortnight. Billy Zanes Movie career has sank like the Titanic , Whoops pun intended. Great merchandising with the Dvd cover which bears no resemblance to anything at all in the film . The acting is non existant .Avoid at all costs

4.0 out of 5 stars seems i am the only one that liked it 18 Feb 2012
Format:DVD
this movie has been slated by nearly everyone . the cover is misleading billy zane is not the hero he is an evil king and is hardly in it . he is the only one that can act the rest of the actors are very wooden . the rubber masks are the type you buy from pound shops and the armour the soldiers have are so shiny they must spend all day rubbing thier helmets.their chain mail look more like knitted vests . the story is very run of the mill farm boy is the real hero who is a real wimp their is an attractive princess a weird yellow three fingered midget and the heroes mentor who trains him and mans him up . i should have hated this film like everyone else but i liked it i found the acting and costumes so inept i slowly got drawn into it . i brought this film new for one pound .even though this film is tripe i enjoyed it
