Some form of journaling, journaling writing or journal keeping, has been around for centuries.
As a matter of fact, journals have been kept since man learned to write*,and the reasons for our keeping them are as varied as our handwriting.
Many of you were probably journaling long before it became the thing to do,although you may not have called it journaling at the time.
Journaling comes easily enough for me because I enjoy writing, and I am most comfortable when I am expressing ideas and opinions through writing.
Even as a child, paper and pen(more often a pencil) were two of my constant companions, and I spent endless hours creating short stories, poems and plays, changing and rearranging characters, events and conflicts whenever I wanted;it was delightful!
Several years ago, I began journaling, and it had,and continues to have,a profound impact on my life.
Journaling,as used in this book,is the daily process of writing one's thoughts, reflections, reactions, and problems,on a specific topic to "clear the air",bring closure,or to address and seek solutions to major issues.
It,therefore,is not diary writing.
This process,as defined in this book, has greatly improved how I think, problem solve, write, organize things, and interact with others, among other things.
Now,if you are ready to discover how daily journaling can improve all or most areas of your life, let's get started!
