Vintage Advertising Poster: A beautifully authentic poster, this ornamental piece is a brilliant example of advertising from the Art Nouveau period. Designed by Jules Cheret in 1885, this image features a child on a rocking horse, delighting in the numerous toys surrounding her. Originally an advertising piece for a toymaker, this great design is now recognised more now for its exquisite artistic beauty, and has rocketed in popularity after being featured on the wall of Monica's apartment in the popular American sitcom, 'Friends'.

Right when I saw this I knew I needed to get it. I didn't actually realize it was from Friends, I had seen a framed one in my Grandparent's place in France and I remembered it instantly. Only until I brought it home and put it up did a friend point out the fact that it was the same one that hung in Monica's living room in Friends. Double-please. OH YES!

I was extremely surprised at both the size and quality of this poster, it is larger than I had anticipated, the printing is of excellent quality and the colours are very vibrant. I really cannot believe how cheaply I have bought this for!

i am having my bedroom decorated and fancied something different. i was glad i came across this print, along with another. colours look great and will look great in the bedroom in a pretty frame.
