I am seriuos about my mash, I cant be doing with lumps ! Since breaking my good masher I then purchased this one - Cuisipro Non Stick Fibreglass Potato Masher (Heat Resistant) , this was not very good, So I then purchased the pump action masher, I found this to be even worse, if you mash too close to the edge of the saucepan then all the mash comes up through the middle and then squirts out over the edge of the pan, I finished up picking up more mash off the worktop than what was left in the pan. Maybe if I used my largest saucepan the mash would not come out, the problem is there is only 2 in my family and you need a full pan of spuds to get a good mash on the go....
I think I am going to stop buying expensive gimmick mashers and go back to the normal ones.

I thought about buying this masher several weeks ago but didn't really think it would be so good - WOW this is fantastic, easy to use and clean, wish I had bought it sooner! I went back on to Amazon to order a couple more for family but the price has now gone up so I will hold off until the price is cut again. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

My husband had been complaining for ages about our old potato masher (he'd managed to bend it!) so liking Joseph & Joseph stuff I decided to splash out. Potato mashing is now a matter of containing the mash - use it in a deep container, it's that efficient.
