This potato masher works pretty well. I especially like that I can use it in non-stick pans.
I was not thrilled with the color at first but the green makes it stand out among my other utensils, so it now works for me.
I would definitely recommend this item--and not just for mashing potatoes!

Works as described. Was worried that it might not be strong enough to mash potatos however the polymer is pretty tough. It also flexes and you can tell if you are flexing it to the breaking point.

The description of this tool sounded like something I was looking for--mash the potatoes and then scoop them out using one tool--but it didn't meet my expectations. It is sturdy but I found it a bit awkward I only used it once so it is a bit premature to write it off completely. Maybe when I get use to it I might like it better.
