The handle of the colander did not fit correctly over the middle of my sink, so I could not secure it in the sink corner. Perhaps it will fit well in another sink. However, I believe my kitchen sink to be standard size..

I like the square colander, but it is larger than I expected. It has feet on the bottom though which rest nicely in the sink when draining spaghetti or other foods and doesn't cause problems if trying to hold while pouring the food to be drained into it. Just wouldn't have enough hands for this since this colander is rather large. I should have gotten the smaller but still very good quality and durable.

Makes filtering water out of food simple and easy. Great size for individuals and families. Any bigger might be difficult to hold onto. I just bought one for my Mom to get her off her conventional two handed type.
