Product Description

Product Description

Chop 2 Pot Plus is Joseph Joseph's folding chopping board.

Laid flat, it provides a durable, knife-friendly cutting surface for all types of food preparation. But when the handle is squeezed, the sides of the board fold up, forming a convenient chute down which chopped food or waste can be neatly guided.

This version of the design still employs the same proven ‘living-hinge’ technology to achieve its transformation, but also features a comfortable, soft-grip handle and non-slip feet. Available in two sizes.Dishwasher safe.

Box Contains

Firstly, I love the idea of this chopping board as I often end up with chopped vegetables missing the pan when cooking. However the product isn't as good as I hoped it might be.

It's not that stable in use - the board flexes around the joints (which of course, go along the whole board). The handle gets in the way too.

The board marks incredibly easily - After only a few times using it, it looked worn and almost as if a surface material was beginning to lift.

The glue holding the product sticker on never came off 100%, no matter what I tried.

Overall a disappointment - Joseph Joseph's products are usually great quality but I regret buying this particular one - I have long gone back to the large sturdy wooden chopping board I was using before.

Although it still basically works this feels like a backward step to the previous chop to pot.
The main new addition comes in the form of rubber feet on the bottom of it to stop it sliding about. However, the hard plasticy-ness of the new model means that the end sticks up more noticeably than it previously did and it seems awkward to flatten out when you need to get down to the chopping.
I wish I'd bought the old version.

I really like my chop 2 pot chopping board. The design has been improved & now has non slip rubber strips on the bottom. I ordered a new one as my old snapped along the join between the handle and the board. When the new one arrived, I noticed on the label it was guaranteed for 3 years. I then discovered on the underside is a date stamp (showing month of manufacture - an arrow pointing to numbers 1 to 12 and the year - one number each side of the arrow). As mine said 08/11 I got on to the Joseph Joseph web site & emailed them. Within a couple of hours I had a reply, with an explanation of why they crack, how they have tried to reduce the problem. They also requested I send a photo to show the problem and they will replace free of charge. :-) So one very happy customer.

Have used these for a few years now and find them versatile and easy to use. They don't, though, last for ever as the hinge sections eventually give up the ghost! (but then, always nice to have a new one in a different colour)

I am quite disappointed with this chopping board. It isn't very big so I have to constantly "chop and stop" to empty what I have chopped into a pan. Also the handle doesn't stand up. It keeps falling down causing the board to close as I am trying to use it. It has also marked very quickly from using knives on it. I have now stopped using it and gone back to my large wooden chopping board.
