I was delighted to receive this box set as a gift. Lovely bright colours, great handle shape and looked forward to using the set.
The non handle end of the utensils feel a little more flimsy and flexible that I was used to, but they looked so great, I was prepared to see beyond the lightweight feel.
However, after one mild curry, the handles of the 2 utensils I was using were stained from splash marks. Another had an ugly melt line in the plastic where it had touched the side of the pan very briefly. The melt mark I could forgive - annoying that it was not more heat resistent but my error. The fast staining was another issue. This is after about 3 days worth of cooking.
Note: I am not a crazy cook who dunks handles into bright yellow curry and left them to sit in the sink for days before cleaning - this was a normal tomato based sauce that splashed a little onto the handles and the utensils were cleaned in hot soapy water immediately after use.
If you want something to liven up your kitchen and look good on the worktop, then this is a great product. Perhaps these are great for stirring spaghetti or tossing salad or serving up oven chips..
However, if you like to cook food with strong colours, "real cooking and stirring" stuff (italian tomato based sauces, currys, stir frys etc.) then be aware your lovely looking set with those bright handles could look discoloured and permanently stained very quickly.
Two stars for a pretty set that looks great and has an innovative handle design. Would have had 5 if I reviewed them without using! (I wonder how much use some of the other 5 star reviewers really gave to these sets?)

While I think the product is an excellent concept, I have to concur with other negative reviewers that the handles are way too sensitive to heat. Having read the other reviews, I have been very scrupulous about not leaving them to touch the edges of a hot pan. However, I have now found out that you even get marks on the handles by simply putting them in the dishwasher on a 50 degree programme (which is not even the hottest setting), despite the product stating that it is dishwasher proof. Anywhere where the handle has come into contact with the rack of the dishwasher it has left a small indented mark.
Very disappointed with the quality of the product, and although it may be nice looking it will clearly not last if you intend to put them in the dishwasher!

I agree, it is a very nice looking set ... a handle melted being left for a few seconds on the edge of the frying pan ... cheap rubber not for serious cooking.
