I'm sure there are cheaper versions of this wee device out there, but I bought this one because, well, I'm lazy and it's cute. I'm very glad I did though! The measurements work really well for me - as someone who normally eats alone but sometimes has to entertain guests, and is terrible at working out pasta measurements, this was a life-saver.
I suppose there are people for whom the servings aren't quite right, but you can adjust it between the suggestions, so I think that once you've worked out what a "single" serving means for you, you can easily convert up or down depending on how many guests you have over.
In short, I really recommend this to anyone who has a history of over- or under-serving their spaghetti and likes well-designed kitchen gadgets.

I find the quantities a bit small, on the other hand, perhaps we eat too much in our house. The wonderful thing about it is that I no longer cook TOO MUCH pasta like I did before. Good gadget!

Small and practical
The measure is rather generous so I would recommend 1.5 or a bit more for 2 people unless you eat a lot. Delivered on time outside UK.
