The Poet of Prague 29 Mar 2009
Format:Paperback
A small, handy-sized book, which is satisfyingly full of truly poetic, black and white photographs to visit, revisit and contemplate.

Excellent small book 12 Oct 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book deserves to be rated highly simply because it is very inexpensive and attractive. For the price you cannot expect it to represent all of Sudeks work, but the selection draws upon many themes, periods and styles; albeit no theme is treated comprehensively. The binding is atrociously made, the cover is not well attached, some of the pages are very tight, but the book is well printed and the format is good (but small).

Josef Sudek created some of the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen.
This book contains a superb cross section of his work from the 1930s to the 1970s.

If you love great photography, save up for this book. It's a real treat.
