Format:Audio CD
When people think about Strauss family composition we are induced to imagine endless set of boring waltzes and polkas. Of course, that's not the cause when it comes to Josef Strauss'compositions. His creative mind enabled him to show words fullfilled with originality and charm as can be heard in most of the tunes of this CD. One can really imagine Ball-Silhueten or one "Floating Virgin" after hearing these compositions. His polkas and quadrilles are superb. I give just one advise. Listen and have fun!
