By far these are the best hair straighteners I have used. They far exceed GHDs. These Jose Eber straighteners do not snag the hair at all, they glide and feel glass smooth. My hair is extremely thick and unruly and the straight results with these last a lot longer for me.
The downside for me is that they become very hot and personally I would prefer a grip at the tip of the straighteners to hold them shut (although this is not necessary) but the straightener becomes far too hot to be able to do this. Apart from that, as I say, these are much better than my GHDs (and countless others I have owned including Babyliss).

Arrived quickly but really poor instructions. The instructions are generic and mainly apply to other types of straighteners. For example the first instructions reads "Ensure hair is dry and combed through"! I thought the idea of these are that you can use them on wet (towel dry) hair! It also tells you to move the on/off awitch to the on postion but there is no on/off switch. I know I am sounding pedantic but my main concern is that the power light flickers alot and I'm not sure if that is correct. I would also like some guidance on how hot to use it on wet hair. I have tried contacting jose Eber via their website but they don't respond. There is no telephone number to call so I called their staff at Selfrides wh gave me a number to call. Suprise suprise, the number "has been changed to......". So I dialled that number and that one was unavailable. It does concern me that it is almost impossible to have any contact with this company so goodness know how they can offer a lifetime guarantee if they don't reply to emails or have a contact number that customers can call. Sounds rather dodgy to me. So my lowe score is based on customer service rather than the straighteners themselves as I am rather loathe to use them as I'm not sure they are working correctly. If anyone has a contact number for them please let me know!
