At first this case does not look as chic and unusual as the other exec model, but it does do what it's supposed to! It is made of good quality padded leather & fits snuggly around the 545 offering good protection and good "palm-feel". This case does not suffer with the inherent design fault of the other version - the press closure does not line up with the on button and therefore does not switch on the 545 when one closes the case. It has one small drawback - the 545 has to be fixed to it using Velcro pads and you have to remove from the case to use the docking station. Apart from this minor point it looks good, works well and will age stylishly over time and has designed space for credit & business cards. Heartily recommended!
This is a very useful addition to the Jornada. Not only does it looks cool, but also adds some practicality. The filofax can be dumped and take this instead!!

bulky leather case

I agree with Mr. Howard W. Rhee from Arlington. The case is nice but it is bulky due to the extra flap in the case. I wish that H. Packard will remanufacture this case without the extra flap in order to make the HP-720 portability useful.

This product exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy, allows me to carry wifi card, credit cards, etc. Nicely made and fits the Jornada perfectly.
Flat case for Jornada 720 available!

Try [...] as they do what seems to be a lovely flat case for the 720 without the flap. It costs $75. I know the previous reviews are a few years ago, but this info may help someone.
