Feeling The Blues 12 Nov 2007

Format:Audio CD

I choose to review this album specifically to draw attention to one version above all - the version of Kosmic Blues contained here takes you to a place you maybe don't want to go to if you can't handle the rawest voice in music history telling us about her emotional pain.The rest is great too, especially Get It While You Can, expressing as it does similar sentiments, and Down On Me is a brilliant juggernaut of a rendition, accompanied by sensational guitar.I recently saw Janis interviewed by Letterman and was amazed to see how well she expressed herself - when allowed to get a word in edgeways!
