I bought this for my little grandaughter who is 2 years and 3 months old, it was a christmas present as she was always saying that she wanted a horsey for xmas.Her first reaction was to run away from it and hide but after a bit of persuading and letting her on it in her own time she got to like it.....then we thought we would press the ears on it for her to hear the noise it makes and again she was frightened by it as it is quite loud. But over the last few weeks she has come round to the idea of it and wont stop pressing the ears to hear the noise! I must admit it does drive me a bit crazy if it goes on to long and it dos'nt really sound much like a horse....but having said that I do think this toy is well made and very sturdy and it does look very attractive when it is put together and for the money it is worth the price I paid (£40.00) I would'nt have paid the rrp for it which was £80.00.

Like all toys of this type, care must be taken to ensure children using it do not trap their fingers under the rockers. The horse is chunky and well made, but not heavy, and the battery-operated moving mouth with sounds add an additional degree of fun and imaginative play for the child.

Despite our dog wanting to attack the horse at every opportunity, it is exactly as described and we are sure our grandson will love it!
