As an adult I love to have a laugh and I'm always on the hunt for a good joke so finding them, when you do is like gold dust. What this title by Llewellyn and Phil does is give the reader a huge amount of jokes to tell and whilst a lot of them are colourful there are some crackers within, the main problem is that like Louis Lamour said about gold "... you have to dig through a ton of dirt to find the yellow stuff."

Add to this a number of jokes that I didn't get and whilst it is catagorised so you can flick through it, you have to remember that the humour is subjective. After all what makes one laugh will have others stony faced. All in a good attempt but you might be better seeking out a comedian that you like and looking through one of their titles to get a real humdinger.

I've got a few 'rude' jokes books, but this one is the best by far. For one thing, its got about twice as many jokes as something like the FHM lad's joke book, so you get all the jokes in there plus loads more. There are some real gems in here, and some of it is definitely not for repeating in front of the vicar, so don't buy it for a 10 year old!

The only trouble with this book is that it has so many jokes that it can be hard to find one when you are looking for it. I took it on a stag weekend recently and it went down a storm. We spent hours opening it at random and reading jokes out (and pi**ing ouselves with laughter). It's basically the size of a small phone book, so it's a bit of a bargain. The only rude joke book you'll ever need.
