Saw a few reviews for this product. Tried it on towel-dried hair and thought it got absorbed pretty well; however I'd have liked it to be a bit of a creamier consistency as that will give some nice weight to your curls. Suitable for use before blow drying and if you have fairly thick long hair like I do, be prepared to use a bit more each time. Overall an ok product though would prefer Redken Fresh Curls Curl Refiner.

I usually use Aveda be curly curl enhancer which is about £14-£15 so I wanted a cheaper alternative. I tried this product because of the price and it is actually a good product. The only problem I had with it was this awful smell it left the first few times I used it but now I can't smell it so I don't know whether I have got used to it or it's just as you use the product for the first time. I would ask someone to smell your hair to check! The results of the product are very good and I have very thick and very long hair (mixed race). I would recommend it and if you don't like the smell to begin with give it a few more days before giving up on it. I will still be using Aveda but at least I have a cheaper alternative when needed.

This is the best curl definer I have ever tried. I just apply and scrunch after I wash and condition my hair and it makes tight curls. Even better, when my hair is dry and I comb out my "do", my hair is soft to the touch. This is the best!

I use this along with the Joico Curl activator but you need to be careful and use only a very small amount. I have a head of hair that is considered thick and use less than a tablespoon, maybe a teaspoon and its enough to keep the curl in place. If you use too much the hair becomes stiff.

I believe the product must have been old. I opened it after my allowable return date. To say it smells like rotten fish would be an understatement. I took it to the salon and the bottle from Amazon smells different than the one available in the salon. I do not recommend purchasing it here.
