This is a wonderful dvd, showcasing a brilliant, unique vocalist. Altogether you get 35 songs, with 12 of them being on the bonus features. Why they didn't just lump them all together in the main part of the concert I don't know, as they are obviously from the same show. However, this is a very minor niggle.This was recorded in 2006. Johnny's voice, though not as strong now, remains beautiful. The 5.1 surround sound is superb and the picture quality is excellent. Overall, a beautifully produced dvd and a fitting tribute to one of the great singers.

I bought this DVD of Mathis in order to have a visual record of him performing some of his songs to add to my existing CD collection. He still has the magic, although I would say only just. In some ways it is a shame that this recording hadn't been made perhaps a decade ago. It is not just that he is showing his age,-we all do. His voice doesn't have the power and control it used to and it does detract from the enjoyment of this performance. I saw him live in concert many years ago and have not been able to repeat that experience, so bearing that in mind I am still very happy to have made the purchase and to be able to watch rather than just listen to him sing.
