About the Author
Music and film journalist Nick Johnstone is a regular contributor to one of the UK's leading film and music monthlies, Uncut magazine, and also to national newspapers the Observer, the Guardian and the Daily Telegraph. He is the author of six other books, including biographies of Sean Penn, Patti Smith and Radiohead, and has written a novel.

I read this book in about two days - so it can't have been bad! Johnny Depp's life is laid out in an easy to follow fashion with details on the films he's been in, why he chooses the slightly oddball roles he does and his loves, past and present. My only downer is that some of the photos are quite grainy.

This book is great it tells you everything you would wan't to know about Johnny Depp.It is full of realy good pictures nearly all of them in color and they are excellent quality(not grainy like the other review say's,must of left it in the sun to long?)If you like Johnny Depp you'll like this it's very upto date aswell it goes all the way up to Sweeny Todd but it does even mention Public Enimies to.

This book is really good with great pictures and in depth knowledge of Johnny Depp's films etc. He is such a great actor and has made a lot of great films but its his ability to produce a character just for him that makes him so unique. Apart from being good looking etc he is a nice family man and although I have not met him and probably never will I feel he is maybe a private person too. This book gives you an insight about him and his films and the other actors with him too. Its an update on the previous book before and I think this one is better.
