This is a must, maybe, for diehard Lennon fans, but it won't blow anyone's mind away. Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, and Little Richard perform a song each on the DVD till Lennon takes to the stage with Clapton on lead guitar- and sadly, Yoko Ono on backing vocals, if you can call the wailing of this attention seeking banshee singing. After performing some rock and roll classics he performs four of his own songs, most memorably, in my opinion, the Beatles' Yer Blues, which is on the White Album. His rendition of Cold Turkey is a bit lame, but if I'm correct this is the first unveiling of the song, so he can be forgiven. The worst part of the gig is Yoko's turn, two 'songs' where she wails like a demented red Indian passing a hard stool, as Clapton looks over at her with a mixture of contempt and incredulity. No wonder 'The Plastic Ono Band' played this one concert. Lennon made a big mistake making albums with Ono and should've put his foot down and told her where to go. She wasn't a musician and had contributed nothing to his music, and she certainly impaired my enjoyment of this DVD.
