About The Awful

I was bored on the 9th of Octover 1940 when, I believe, the Nasties were still booming us led by Madolf Heatlump (who only had one). Anyway they didn't get me. I attended to varicous schools in Liddypol. And still didn't pass -- much to my Aunties supplies. As a member of the most publified Beatles my (P, G, and R's) records might seem funnier to some of you than this book, but as far as I'm conceived this correction of short writty is the most wonderfoul larf I've every ready.

God help and breed you all.

I don't read much, but this book I could read over and over and over again. Not many peoble see the humour in his stories. All of a suddy you're sent on this hysterically funny journey through a jumble of stories that make sense but don't. Loved it to bits!!!!!

Fresh and Unique 30 Dec 1996

Lennon writes in the same style as the famous Lewis Carroll. His poems/stories are a mixture of "gobbldeygook" and brilliant sarcasm which will leave you howling with laughter. Each page is different and captivating. This book isn't like anything you've ever read before-IT'S BETTER.

A wonderful book that I have enjoyed since I purchased it back in the sixties. I quote the book often. The humor is priceless and will last forever. The world lost a gem, it's too bad he didn't live to write more than he did.

cruel whimsy
These books were published at the very height of the beatles popularity and were a spectacular success. I wonder how many who raved about them then could still do so. Read more
