John Le Carre's trilogy with George smiley has never been surpassed

I have read all three before but decided as a holiday treat to revisit the murky world of espionage

Maybe the world has moved on with the ending of the cold war and the advent of Al Quaeda but the essence of human frailty does not change

Return to age gone by that remains so relevant today

Badly produced trilogy. this is no review of the work but that of how this is produced by the publisher. I was expecting a set in hard carboard but is in a paper box. Awful! I could wring the publisher's neck and is a fleece bag

Marvellous to read these again after so many years. Couldn't put them down . Carried back to the Cold War years and all the fears and excitements they held. I'm a Dickens' addict, but John Le Carre is way up there with him.

Just click on the image above and it enlarges. For Littlesnoring and all others who struggle with this concept the titles included are Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Honourable Schoolboy and Smiley's People. Classics all!!!
