Format:Audio CD
Before this arrived i was particularly looking forward to the blissed out electronica mix, but its the live mix from Avalon that i'll be listening to for a long time to come.
The chilled mix is decent headphone fodder. I find myself a little frustrated during the first half as many tracks are ambient mixes of dancefloor orientated tunes... you get the build up and sense that a nice beat is about to drop, but it doesnt... when the proggy-breaks start rolling in the second half i felt much more comfortable.
This compilation is worth buying just for the live mix though. You really do get the feeling this has come straight from the club... a little crowd noise here and there (fortunately no Yanks whoop-whooping), and the mixes dont seem to have been doctored back in the studio, you can often tell where he's started mixing the next track in - for me this just gives it a really natural feeling, it's not polished.
And the tunes themselves? Throbbing, groovy, dark house music...
If you like Digweeds stuff, don't hesitate to get this.

this is an outstanding album.... cd1 a beautiful chilled out mix which shows john is not just a one trick pony !! as always the mixing is flawless !! cd2... a live mix from avalon in L.A.... incredible set with some absolutely filthy techno involved ! this is a definate must for digweed fans, you wont be dissapointed !!! ... well done diggers... again you provide the goods in style !!

Structures2 john Dingweed
An excellent albumn. Both the studio and live mixes are well balanced and tracks integrate well withbeach other. Very listenable both by itself and as background music.

CD1 is chill out, best leaving this to those who do it best.
