John Bradley's new book, 'The Foul Bowel: 101 Ways to Survive and Thrive With Crohn's Disease' is now available. Diagnosed with Crohn's in 1983, John is following the oft-given advice to authors that they should 'write about what they know'.
His first book, 'Cadbury's Purple Reign', a complete history of Cadbury's from 1831, was published in 2008 to critical praise in the business press and was also written from personal experience, John having worked in marketing for Cadbury's for 25 years.
The Foul Bowel is written for people with Crohn's disease by someone who has it. Intended as a user's guide to having the illness, John relates his Crohn's story, pulling out along the way 101 tips he has learnt on how to make the most of his life as a Crohnie. The outcome is an uplifting and heartwarming call to all Crohnies that Crohn's, while being for life, need not impact the enjoyment or success of that life.
John Bradley was born in Lancashire, England in 1957 and now lives near Toronto.
